BRUDY PIO has been designed to supplement the daily needs of essential fatty acids from the Omega-3 family and the included group of vitamins (A, B, C, E), minerals (Zn, Cu, Mn, Se), carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, lycopene), glutathione, flavonoids, and olive leaf extract, among other components.

A sufficient intake of these through diet, supplementing when necessary, promotes the proper functioning of the body.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid that constitutes an important part of the structure of the retina and brain; therefore, it plays a role in visual development and the normal functioning of the eyes and brain.

These beneficial effects are achieved with a daily intake of 250mg of DHA. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, selenium, copper, and manganese contribute to the protection of cellular components from oxidative damage.

The vitamin B complex influences the proper functioning of the nervous system. Vitamin B9 (folic acid) contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine, and Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) contributes to maintaining the normal structure and function of the skin and mucous membranes, such as the ocular conjunctiva; it is also necessary for the functioning of the antioxidant enzyme Glutathione Reductase in the reduction of glutathione, which helps maintain the transparency of the lens.

Vitamin A, zinc, and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. The polyphenols in olive leaf extract act as antioxidants for LDL lipoproteins.
